| Description | Kosas pagasts bija viena no Cēsu apriņķa pašvaldībām tā dienvidrietumos. Robežojās ar Cēsu apriņķa Drabešu, Sērmūkšu, Skujenes un Ērgļu pagastiem, kā arī Rīgas apriņķa Ķēču un Zaubes pagastiem. Pagasta valde atradās tagadējā Kosā. Dibināts pēc muižu pagastu likvidēšanas sakarā ar 1866. gada pagastu pašvaldību likuma pieņemšanu. 1935. gadā pagasta platība bija 108,35 km² un tajā bija 1557 iedzīvotāji. 1945. gada 8. oktobrī pagastā izveidoja Dūmkalna un Kosas ciema padomes. Pagastu likvidēja 1949. gada 31. decembrī, ciemus iekļaujot Cēsu (Kosas ciemu) un Ērgļu (Dūmkalna ciemu) rajonos. Mūsdienās Kosas pagasta teritorijas lielākā daļa iekļauta Amatas novada Amatas un Skujenes pagastos, kā arī neliela daļa Vecpiebalgas novada Kaives pagastā. Lielās Piektdienas rītā priekš saules lēkta viņa gājusi pa citu kūtīm un slaukusi govis. Reiz kāds saimnieks viņu noķēra pie šāda darba savā kūtī. Saimnieks par to veceni krietni piekāvis. Viņa tikko pusdzīva aizgājusi uz māju. Pēc pusgada viņa mira. Viņa mocījās trīs dienas un nevarējusi nomirt. Beidzot trešās dienas vakarā kalpi atplēsuši viņas mājas jumtu, lai viņas ļaunā dvēsele varētu aiziet. Tad viņa nomirusi. |
